Help Desk Technician – Full Time with Benefits Help Desk Technician PCN# 250171. Under the supervision of IT Management staff, this role provides tier‑I technology support to users throughout the district.

Key responsibilities include:

Providing high‑quality technology assistance and support across school sites and departments.

Troubleshooting devices (iPads, Chromebooks, Windows), VoIP phone systems, email services, user accounts, application settings, and printers.

Maintaining inventory, repairing devices, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment.

Occasionally providing evening or weekend support as required by district needs.

Requirements / Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent (required).

Valid California Driver’s License (required).

Ability to travel between district sites as needed (required).

CompTIA A+ or equivalent technology certification (preferred).

Associate’s degree or coursework in computer science/related fields (desired).

Experience providing technical support, preferably in a K‑12 education setting (preferred).

Excellent problem‑solving skills, ability to multitask, and a customer‑focused approach.

Benefits:

Salary: Classified Salary Schedule #3, Range 22; $21.45 - $28.75.

Length of Work Year: 8 hours / 12 months / 260 days.

Full‑time employment.
