Position Overview The Human Resources Manager will lead and manage all HR functions across Supersede’s operations, including recruiting, onboarding, payroll, benefits administration, compliance, and employee relations. This role is instrumental in shaping our growing team across two facilities, with travel up to 50% to Elkhart, Indiana.

Key Responsibilities

Lead full‑cycle recruiting for Phoenix and Elkhart facilities.

Manage large‑scale hiring for Elkhart site (over 50 positions).

Develop sourcing strategies for manufacturing, engineering, and leadership roles.

Build relationships with local recruiting agencies, workforce development programs, and technical schools.

Design and manage onboarding programs aligned with Supersede’s culture.

Coordinate training for new hires, supervisors, and technical roles.

Develop employee handbook, SOPs, and HR policies.

Support performance management, coaching, and development programs.

Administer biweekly payroll and oversee compliance.

Manage employee benefits, including health, dental, vision, and retirement plans.

Partner with finance on compensation strategy, job leveling, and pay equity.

Oversee timekeeping systems and support multi‑state payroll.

Serve as primary point of contact for employee relations and conflict resolution.

Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, OSHA, ADA, EEOC).

Manage workers’ comp claims and safety incidents; lead site safety initiatives.

Maintain personnel records and HR documentation compliance.

Develop and implement HR policies, systems, and reporting.

Support workforce planning, retention strategies, and succession planning.

Foster an engaging and inclusive company culture.

Act as trusted advisor on engagement, communication, and organization structure.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, including recruiting, payroll, benefits, and employee relations.

Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environments strongly preferred.

Proven managing multi‑site HR operations or startup expansions.

Knowledge of employment law and compliance in Arizona and Indiana (or multi‑state).

Proficiency in HRIS, payroll platforms, and ATS.

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to handle sensitive employee matters with discretion.

Experience developing HR policies, handbooks, and training.

Willingness to travel up to 50% between Phoenix and Elkhart.

PHR/SPHR or SHRM‑CP/SHRM‑SCP certification preferred.
