Overview An award-winning architectural studio in Portsmouth is seeking a talented Architect to join its expanding team. Renowned for its innovative, sustainable, and client-focused approach, the practice has built an impressive portfolio across commercial, education, healthcare, and mixed-use sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Architect to take on a senior role, lead significant projects, and help shape the future direction of a forward-thinking, design-led practice.

Key Requirements
ARB:registered Architect with substantial post-qualification experience in the UK
Strong design flair combined with excellent technical knowledge
Advanced Revit proficiency (essential)
In-depth understanding of UK building regulations, planning processes, and RIBA work stages
Proven experience delivering projects from concept through to completion, ideally in education, healthcare, or commercial sectors
Effective communicator with leadership and mentoring experience
Strong organisational and project management skills, able to oversee multiple live projects
Full UK driving licence and ability to commute to Portsmouth
Responsibilities
Lead and deliver projects through all RIBA stages, ensuring design excellence and technical precision
Provide leadership within the studio and mentorship to junior team members
Act as a key client liaison, maintaining strong relationships with consultants and contractors
Develop innovative, sustainable design solutions aligned with the practice’s ethos
Ensure all work meets planning, regulatory, and quality standards
Contribute to business development and help steer the strategic growth of the practice
