Job Overview
Provide on‑site desktop support for all hardware in the manufacturing plant, including setup, configuration, installation and maintenance of end‑user desktop computers and peripherals in production line and office locations.
Responsibilities
Provide technical support for production and office personnel on computers, phones, and printers.
Implement and maintain network servers, including Active Directory accounts.
Deliver break/fix support for network, server, and end‑user devices.
Support industrial printers.
Manage and track hardware inventory and e‑waste.
Provide Windows 10 support.
Support Mobile RF devices and workstation PCs.
Perform other duties as required and assigned.
Essential Skills
Excellent problem‑solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure.
Ability to make critical decisions in a timely manner.
Good communication and writing skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize numerous critical tasks.
Capacity to cope with a demanding workload and fast‑paced environment.
Physical Requirements
Operation of personal computer equipment.
Occasional stooping, crawling, and lifting up to 50 lbs during installation or inspection of network devices and cabling.
Ability to climb ladders to reset wireless access points.
Capability to climb man‑ladders up to 20‑25 ft, including built‑in ladders, sometimes appearing in catwalks or mezzanines under wires and HVAC systems while carrying hardware.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 – $24.00 per hour. Eligibility requirements apply for some benefits and may depend on job classification and length of employment. For this temporary role, eligible benefits may include:
