Base pay range $75,000.00/yr - $175,000.00/yr

Account Manager / Recruitment & Business Development – SearchPointNY | Noor Staffing Group | Legal Staff Recruiting Actively seeking a Corporate Staff Accountant to Accounting Manager for a Full-Time & Onsite Position on our team. We will consider a candidate with anywhere between 2 - 10+ years of experience, with the salary commensurate with years of experience. In addition, the right candidate is someone with multi-state, full-cycle accounting experience, and has worked in a medium to large organization where you have setup and improved processes, and experience with tax compliance in a multi-entity organization is a plus. This role is FULLY ONSITE.

HOURS:

Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 5:30 PM EST

Onsite | Midtown Manhattan

PAY:

$75 - $175K (Commensurate w/Experience)

IDEAL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting & Finance

REQUIRED

2-10+ Years of Progressive Experience in an Accounting Role

REQUIRED

Experience working with multi-state accounting is

REQUIRED

Leadership experience

is a PLUS

for more senior candidates

Strong MS Office Suite Experience; Including Excel

Experience in Microsoft Dynamics

IS A PLUS

Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills to be able to make presentations and put together analytical reports

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and USGAAP

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform detailed monthly reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts, including cash, accounts receivable/payable, accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, payroll liabilities, and intercompany balances.

Support month-end and year-end close activities, including preparation of W-2 and 1099 filings.

Prepare monthly P&L and balance sheet variance analysis, explaining key drivers of changes to management.

Support budgeting and forecasting processes with accurate reconciliations and data insights.

Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and intercompany transactions, ensuring discrepancies are identified and resolved.

Apply revenue recognition principles (ASC 606) and prepare related revenue accruals.

Reconcile payroll data and insurance invoices; collaborate with Payroll and HR to address variances.

Prepare, post, and maintain accurate general ledger entries with proper supporting schedules.

Process Improvement & Controls

Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance.

Identify process inefficiencies, recommend improvements, and support automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Assist with ERP/finance system enhancements, including leading and participating in user acceptance testing (UAT).

Partner with HR, Payroll, Operations, and IT to ensure accurate and aligned financial processes across the organization.

Provide clear communication and timely support to management regarding financial processes and reporting needs.
