Base pay range $90,000.00/yr - $105,000.00/yr
The HR Generalist will play a vital role in supporting the Human Resources department within the manufacturing sector. This position will focus on implementing HR policies, managing employee relations, and supporting recruitment efforts -- MANUFACTURING AND UNION EXPERIENCE ARE REQUIRED.

Description
Manage employee relations and act as a point of contact for HR-related queries.
process site payroll and lead all recruitment efforts for the plant.
Work alongside a unionized work staff.
Assist with recruitment processes, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding.
Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
Administer employee benefits and handle payroll-related tasks.
Provide guidance on company policies and procedures to employees and management.
Support performance management processes and employee development programs.
Collaborate with department managers to address workforce planning and organizational development needs.

Profile
A successful HR Generalist should have:
Experience in human resources functions, particularly within the manufacturing sector.
Prior experience working in unionized manufacturing settings.
Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
Experience in processing payroll for salaried and hourly staff.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
Proficiency in HR software and tools.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
