Resident Manager I – Housing (West Terrace-1291) This full‑time position is at West Terrace, a 64‑unit affordable family housing property in Los Angeles, CA. The resident manager will live onsite in a two‑bedroom unit with in‑unit washer and dryer. The property is TCAC‑based.

Salary range:

$23.75–$42.65

per hour; current hiring range:

$23.75–$33.20

per hour, DOE.

Position Overview The Resident Manager I is directly responsible for managing the site to ensure effective fiscal, physical, and social soundness. The manager oversees day‑to‑day operations of the property, including administrative, facilities, and marketing activities.

Responsibilities

Collect rent, make bank deposits, and prepare and submit rent rolls.

Verify income compliance with HUD, TCAC, and other regulations.

Maintain waiting lists, prepare and process leases.

Supervise on‑site staff; process evictions; conduct annual inspections; coordinate repairs for HUD properties; submit vouchers.

Qualifications

3+ years of affordable housing property management experience.

Current California real‑estate license.

Knowledge of HUD, TCAC, DFEH, and ADA guidelines.

Ability to develop and implement budgets and variance reports.

Strong resident problem‑solving and staff‑management skills.

Background Check & Drug Testing EAH Housing conducts criminal background checks and drug testing (excluding marijuana/cannabis) within 72 hours of conditional offer acceptance. All household members over 18 years who will live onsite must also undergo background checks and tenant screening.
