Responsibilities

Manage and execute month‑end and year‑end close processes with precision and completeness.

Oversee revenue recognition and expense accrual processes for accurate period‑end results.

Partner with cross‑functional teams to improve financial workflows and serve as a key resource for accounting inquiries.

Manage lease accounting in accordance with ASC 842, including administration, reporting, classification, and reconciliation.

Coordinate and execute annual financial statement audits, preparing schedules and responding to auditor inquiries.

Monitor compliance with state‑level tax, regulatory, and financial reporting requirements across all U.S. jurisdictions.

Provide guidance, mentorship, and technical support to accounting team members.

Collaborate with the Controller to design and implement scalable processes and automation initiatives.

Support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes with accurate historical and transactional data.

Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal accounting policies, maintaining a strong internal control environment.

Participate in ad‑hoc projects and reporting to support company and department initiatives.

Qualifications

CPA required.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Master’s or MBA a plus).

7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting and corporate accounting in a fast‑growth or private‑equity backed environment.

Multi‑site accounting experience with strong background in managing site‑level P&Ls, intercompany activity, and cost allocations.

Proficiency in accounting systems with specific expertise in NetSuite.

High level of ownership, initiative, and adaptability in a constantly evolving environment.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.

Collaborative work style, able to work well within and across departments.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure.

Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information.

Compensation Salary range: $110,000 – $130,000 annually, dependent on education, experience, skills, and geography. MedSpeed also offers a discretionary bonus program based on individual and company performance.
