Opportunity As a systems administrator, you will build and maintain infrastructure solutions that meet customer needs while leveraging cloud capabilities and services. Your expertise will support the Air Force’s warfighter Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) analyst capabilities and communications systems through the development of cloud‑based solutions for some of the Air Force’s toughest challenges.

Responsibilities • Build, operate, and maintain solutions for on‑premises and cloud-based capabilities.

• Manage risk and communicate it strategically, developing plans and orchestrating execution.

• Research the current environment and recommend tools and capabilities across on‑premise, cloud, and hybrid resources.

• Share expertise with teammates and help the customer overcome difficult challenges in the cloud.

• Work with the Air Force to ensure standards are met throughout the cloud migration process.

• Identify new opportunities to build cloud-based solutions that meet evolving customer needs.

Required Qualifications

3+ years of experience in IT system administration

Experience sustaining IT data centers

Experience with cloud solutions and virtualization

Experience with server hardware installation and configuration

Experience with Windows Server v2019, 2022, and 2025

Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash, Perl)

TS/SCI clearance

HS diploma or GED with 9+ years of experience, or Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of experience

Ability to obtain an IAT or IAM II certification within 60 days of hire date

Nice to Have

Experience with Dell EMC Isilon storage solutions

Experience in containerization (Kubernetes)

Knowledge of RHEL v7.9, v8.x, and v9.x

Bachelor’s degree in STEM

AWS SysOps Administrator Certification

Windows Server Administrator Certification

Red Hat Certified Administrator Certification

Security Clearance Applicants must undergo a security investigation and meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. TS/SCI clearance is required.

Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $77,500.00 – $176,000.00 per year (annualized USD). Benefits include health, life, disability, financial, retirement, paid leave, professional development, tuition assistance, work‑life programs, and dependent care. Full‑time and part‑time employees working at least 20 hours a week are eligible for the benefits program.
