Description We are hiring a Deskside Support Technician to provide daily, local desktop support for a global animal health company.

Duties

Provide first and second level contact and problem resolution for customer issues.

Utilize established procedures to review and resolve end-user technology issues; troubleshoot both standard and non‑standard hardware and software problems.

Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot computer hardware (PCs, laptops, iPads, iPhones, printers, and other user devices).

Support Windows 10, Microsoft Office, O365, and other authorized desktop applications.

Support MS Teams Room system and other conference room equipment.

Maintain basic active‑network equipment, cabling, and office IT infrastructure.

Work with third‑party vendors to remediate complex AV issues.

Execute the new‑user onboarding process (room and connectivity preparation, device configuration, hand‑over, training).

Provide end‑user training within the desktop support domain.

Perform assigned IT project tasks (office relocation, technology change & replacement, new systems roll‑outs).

Maintain ticket updates for all reported incidents.

Maintain asset management database.

Perform preventative maintenance on computers, printers, and user devices.

Perform remedial repairs on desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripheral equipment.

Administer telecom provider's wireless devices/accounts.

Support Mac OS for Apple PC users and Apple iDevices.

Demonstrate basic knowledge of networks, servers, audio/visual, smart devices, and telecoms.

Ensure acceptable user satisfaction from IT services (measured quarterly).

Record critical data and information in the ITIL platform (ServiceNow).

Technical Environment

Windows 10, MS Office 365, and O365.

PC hardware & IT network infrastructure installation and troubleshooting.

Microsoft Active Directory.

Helpdesk ticketing systems.

Conference Room technologies (MS Teams Room, video cameras, speakers, mics).

Mobile device management (iOS & Android), enterprise encryption solutions, Windows PC/laptop management via Active Directory.

Proven analytical, troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.

Ability to multi‑task, determine priorities and meet SLA’s.

Excellent communication and internal customer service skills.

Adaptability and flexibility in a fast‑changing environment.

Willing to work off‑hours and weekends when required.

Working within GxP regulated environment.

Work Environment

Onsite.

IT Support.

Work as a sole technician with minimal supervision.

Interview & Start Date

Interviews: November 6–12, 2025.

2‑step interview process: 1st step virtual HR, 2nd step onsite technical.

Job Type & Location Contract position based out of Fort Dodge, IA.

Pay and Benefits Pay range: $25.00–$27.00 per hour.
