The Hilton Garden Inn Pittsburgh Area Beaver Valley is a premier venue with 6,000 square feet of event space, searching for a Sales Manager to join their team!
The Sales Manager is responsible for generating revenue through the sale of guest rooms, meeting/event space, and catering services. This role focuses on building and maintaining relationships with corporate clients and group accounts to maximize occupancy and event bookings.
Key Responsibilities
Prospect, solicit, and secure new group, corporate, and social business through proactive outreach, networking, and site visits.
Manage existing client relationships to ensure repeat business and long‑term partnerships.
Prepare proposals, contracts, and banquet event orders (BEOs) in coordination with the operations and culinary teams.
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve room night and event revenue goals.
Conduct site tours and presentations for potential clients.
Oversee event setup, manage event flow, and handle any last‑minute changes or issues to ensure a flawless event experience for clients and attendees.
Work closely with the General Manager, Culinary, and Operations teams to ensure seamless event execution and client satisfaction.
Track and report sales activities, revenue performance, and market trends.
Participate in local networking events, trade shows, and community activities to promote the hotel.
Qualifications
Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
Knowledge of sales systems (such as Delphi, Opera, or similar CRM tools) is a plus.
Goal‑driven and able to work independently and collaboratively across departments; must be able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work nights and weekends as needed for events.
Education & Experience
Minimum of 3 years proven experience in hotel sales, preferably with both rooms and event space focus.
Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
