JOB SUMMARY
The Program Manager (PM) is responsible for the mission-success, administrative and educational oversight of assigned academic program(s) for the effective completion of assigned tasks and execution of performance management in accordance with University policies and procedures and CSU System Strategic Initiatives, to deliver the highest level of educational and instructional quality and excellence towards workplace success for CSU Global’s mission-achievement and nontraditional learners. The PM is responsible for providing leadership for program operations and outreach activities including development, implementation, assessment, and revision of courses and curricula, program faculty and instructor management and development, accreditation and organizational compliance activities, advisory group management, enrollment and recruiting support for program faculty and instructors, and maintaining a positive relationship with other program and college constituencies including program partners’ leadership. ***This position requres residency in Colorado!***

Responsibilities ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Program Operations
Work with statewide agencies, professional organizations, and CSU System and CSU Global university resources for mission achievement, and to gain Educator Preparation Certification through the Colorado Department of Education.
In tandem with Educator Preparation Certification process, the position will also work with statewide agencies, professional organizations, and CSU System and CSU Global university resources to create a competency-based and/or apprenticeship program for bachelor’s-level teaching preparation education to serve needs in the State of Colorado.
The position will also perform outreach to school district partners to create, administrate, and document outcomes of competency-based and/or apprenticeships for teacher preparation, through all phases of Related Training and Instruction (RTI), On the Job Training (OJT), liaising with the Registered Apprenticeship Program Sponsor, preparing all necessary files and documents for Governance/Oversight, leading to an Industry-Recognized Credential teacher license through the Colorado Department of Education for apprentices.
The position is also responsible for
coordinating the development, evaluation, and revision of curricular and pedagogical aspects of the assigned academic program(s) to ensure a high-quality curriculum, positive student learning experience, and that program outcomes are being met.
verifying and ensuring accuracy of program and course details in the academic catalog.
maintaining curriculum maps which link program learning outcomes to program courses.
completing program assessment according to organizational expectations to review program data, quality measures, and constituent feedback.
coordinating program accreditation activities as needed and ensuring the program is compliant with all requirements and reports.
identifying advisory group members and facilitating regular meetings to ensure that the curricular offerings are current, timely, and best prepared for students.
coordinating, promoting, and supporting student membership in all program-related honor societies and student organizations, as needed by the program.
responding promptly to all requests and issues (e.g., curriculum questions, course issues, curriculum ticket, grade appeals, student and faculty issues/questions) according to CSU Global service-level agreements.
maintaining relevant and up-to-date program marketing descriptions.
collaborating with University constituents to support program marketing, recruitment, admission, advising, and retention efforts to ensure enrollment goals and fiscal performance goals are met.
completing program admissions reviews, transcript evaluations (TES), and prior learning assessments in a timely manner.
teaching or redeveloping courses in the Program Manager’s program(s). In general, a PM must teach or redevelop at least one course per calendar year. Exceptions may be made based on specific program needs and through consultation with the Provost.
achieving quality control of every course in the program through term-on-term blueprint and review shell checks, setting up processes with faculty for quality assurance, and working with the Curriculum Development department to solve course content issues.
contributing to the promulgation of the CSU Global culture and core values through demonstrated behaviors.
Personnel Operations
In collaboration with Faculty Operations, be responsible for the success of the part-time faculty towards the University mission and goals through credentialing, onboarding, scheduling, performance management, and professional development of program faculty.
In collaboration with Faculty Operations, perform faculty and instructor personnel functions such as selection, credentialing, course assignments, retention, training, evaluation, goal setting, performance management, corrective action, coaching, and mentoring.
Participate in selections and performance management of course Content Experts (CE) and supports curriculum processes and deadlines for course development and quality review.
Collaborate with Faculty Operations to ensure faculty qualification and credentialing processes are followed by the following: Manage the initial and ongoing faculty credentialing process per CSU Global and HLC Policies; prepare Faculty Credentialing reports for the Annual Program Review; conduct annual yearly reviews and participate in drafting changes to the Faculty Handbook.
Engage in regular communications with faculty through meetings, emails, and newsletter.
Work with the Faculty Coordinator to develop communication plans with faculty instructors regarding their scores and areas of strength and improvement.
Submit an annual program report summarizing accomplishments and planning priorities for faculty development, staffing, curriculum alignment with faculty strengths, and faculty involvement in the program.
Serve as a liaison with relevant professional associations and state and national regulatory and accrediting agencies.
Program Representation
Represents the program at institutional and programmatic events and ceremonies.
Serves on various university committees, task forces, and work groups.
Meet with Program Partners as needed.
Maintain the highest level of ethical standards and confidentiality in the execution of all duties performed.
Carries out duties in compliance with all system, state and federal regulations and guidelines.
Complies with all University policies and procedures.
Remains current in profession and industry trends.
Makes a positive contribution as demonstrated by making suggestions for improvement, learning new skills, procedures, and processes.

QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Master’s degree plus a minimum of eighteen (18) hours of graduate credit hours or certification in school leadership. Doctorate preferred.
Must have a minimum of five (5) years of industry and practical experience in developing initiatives that have a state‑and district‑level impact on PK12 education.
Must have three (3) years of experience teaching in any modality or developing and reviewing curriculum in an online environment.
Specific professional licensure may be required depending on the program discipline area.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Must be a Colorado resident!
Required travel within Colorado to attend school district partner events, as well as travel to on‑site meetings with vendors and partners, participation in Program Manager retreats, and commencement events.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to touch, handle or feel, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit, reach with hands and arms. Ability to spend long durations of the workday in front of a computer monitor. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
