Experienced Grant Writer for Girls’ Empowerment Nonprofit (Volunteer Role)

Leigha’s Girls is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering girls through mentorship, leadership development, and community programs. We believe every girl deserves the chance to bloom where she’s planted — and we’re looking for a passionate, experienced Grant Writer to help us grow those opportunities. This volunteer role is ideal for someone with a background in nonprofit funding, research, and proposal writing who’s ready to make a real impact. You’ll be trusted to work independently — finding relevant grants, crafting compelling applications, and helping us secure the funding that keeps our programs thriving. ✨ Responsibilities: Research and identify grant opportunities aligned with Leigha’s Girls’ mission and programs. Write persuasive proposals that capture our story, purpose, and measurable outcomes. Manage grant calendars, deadlines, and submission requirements. Track outcomes, gather data, and assist with follow-up reporting as needed. Qualifications: Proven experience in grant research and writing (nonprofit or education focus preferred). Strong storytelling and writing skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Familiarity with platforms such as Grants.gov, Foundation Directory Online, or similar.
