Hospitalist/Laborist
Overview The Department of OB/GYN at Cleveland Clinic is seeking a full‑time Hospitalist/Laborist to lead obstetric services at Fairview and Hillcrest Hospitals, which collectively see 4,500–5,500 deliveries annually and provide level IV maternal and level III neonatal care.
Responsibilities
Lead the labor and delivery team, overseeing perinatal safety and quality.
Manage the obstetric unit, including labor management and obstetric triage.
Support and consult midwifery and Family Medicine services.
Provide clinical care and faculty supervision of residents, fellows, and medical students.
Participate in academic activities and potential faculty appointment at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine.
Qualifications
Board‑eligible or board‑certified OB/GYN.
Experience in a busy obstetrical practice preferred.
Strong leadership, clinical, and academic skills.
Prior experience supervising residents, fellows, or students is desirable.
Compensation Salary:
$261,250 annually (subject to fair market value and board certification).
