Job Summary The Project Engineer is responsible for reading and understanding the construction design documents and specifications, performing construction cost estimates and quantity surveys for various scopes of work, overall trade management and coordination, and some level of exposure to BIM.
SALARY RANGE:
$75,000 - $110,000 annually (companywide)

Responsibilities
Coordinate with project architects, designers, owners, and field personnel.
Generate and manage Request for Information (RFI) and submittals.
Manage project subcontractors.
Act as the information hub to ensure continuity of work.
Provide technical information to project supervisors to ensure work complies with applicable codes, drawings, and specifications.
Coordinate change orders, expedite material and equipment, assist in preparing estimates, and compile data to analyze project progress.
Monitor and track project quality control metrics and provide timely and accurate quality reports; raise issues to the Project Manager or Superintendent as appropriate.
Inspect all work to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
Qualifications
Graduate or pending graduate of a four‑year degree program in Engineering or Construction Management.
Full knowledge of computer software, e.g., Microsoft Office Suite.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD or Revit a plus.
Broad knowledge of LEAN and BIM techniques.
Experience with BIM is a plus.
Demonstrated analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Good oral and written communication skills.
