Occupational Therapist . Position Summary The

Occupational Therapist (OT)

will assess, plan, and implement therapeutic programs designed to help residents attain their highest level of independence in activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, and overall quality of life. In this role, you will collaborate closely with residents, families, and an interdisciplinary team to ensure personalized, holistic care. Responsibilities Conduct resident evaluations and create customized treatment plans. Deliver effective occupational therapy interventions to enhance functional skills and independence. Maintain accurate documentation of progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries in compliance with regulations. Inform residents, families, and caregivers about adaptive methods and equipment usage. Work together with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary team to support individual resident goals. Engage in care conferences and contribute meaningfully to quality improvement initiatives. Qualifications Active Colorado Occupational Therapist license in good standing. Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program. Experience in skilled nursing or geriatric care is preferred, although new graduates are encouraged to apply. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities. Strong commitment to resident-centered care and effective teamwork.
