We are looking for someone with expertise in Java and Spring Boot, along with hands-on experience in AWS, to help us build high-traffic and complex systems. Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement scalable, high-volume REST-based microservices. Deliver cutting-edge software primarily using Java, Spring Boot, and AWS. Create one-off applications utilizing AWS, Lambda, and NodeJS. Work with databases including DynamoDB and MySQL. Deploy Java applications on AWS EKS Clusters. Collaborate closely with other engineers and quality assurance teams on various projects. Partner with architecture and engineering teams to create high-quality technology solutions. Engage in Agile/Scrum processes to enhance team productivity and deliverables. Experience Requirements Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services including Lambda, SQS, SNS, Kinesis, S3, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, API Gateway, and CloudFormation. Experience with both NoSQL and relational databases. Proficient in troubleshooting and handling support requests. Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Splunk and Datadog. Experience in building low latency and high throughput services with CI/CD practices. Able to manage multiple priorities effectively. Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and strong interpersonal skills. Education Requirements Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience. This position offers competitive pay between $75 - $80/hr on a W2 basis.
