7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Experience: 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. Must have at least 22 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience. Travel experience is preferred from any number of months. Experience with Epic is required from any number of months. Requirements: Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required after submission). This role will require floating to multiple units Local & travel allowed. Candidates living Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted. Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment once they have been away from the facility for 6 months or more. Current employees are ineligible to be hired as a traveler at any Ohio State University hospital location Required Skills/Experience:

Minimum 2 years of ICU experience o IV Start o Telemetry o Ventilator management experience Teaching Hospital Experience Required Skills: IV Therapy & Vascular Access: IV therapy, Accessing Ports, Arterial line management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs Respiratory & Thoracic: Assist with management of BiPAP, Assist with management of CPAP, Care of Ventilated Patient, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Suctioning (ETT, NT), Ventilator Management Genitourinary & Renal: Chronic/Acute Renal failure Medications & Titration: Continuous IV sedation, Emergency Medications, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips Cardiovascular: Post Cardiac Surgery (Not directly from the OR) Neurological: CVA/Acute Stroke management Gastrointestinal: GI surgery Professional Skills: Infection Prevention, Isolation Precautions/ Use of PPE, Phlebotomy Cardiac Monitoring & Emergency: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, Obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG Endocrine/Metabolic: IV insulin protocols Work Settings: Neuro Intensive Care Unit, Surgical Intensive Care Unit Preferred Skills: Respiratory & Thoracic: Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal Medications & Titration: Continuous IV paralytics/Neuromuscular blockade Cardiovascular: Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring, Sheath Removal Neurological: External ventricular drain (EVD), ICP monitoring, Lumbar drains Professional Skills: Surgical Wounds with drains/Wound Vac Required Credentials:
