Job Description
Full‑time Day Float Hospitalist (MD/DO).
Provide inpatient hospitalist services, including admission, care, and discharge planning across multiple UofL Health hospitals.
Work in a team‑oriented, supportive environment.
Essential Functions
Assess patient status, formulate treatment plans, and prescribe medications and diagnostic studies.
Document care accurately and in a timely manner.
Evaluate quality of care and recommend improvements.
Maintain compliance with policies and standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Medical degree (MD/DO).
Physician license in the state of Kentucky.
ACLS/BLS certification.
BC/BE Hospitalist preferred (not mandatory).
