Scope of role:

Colorectal, bariatric, general surgeries, GI, renal, telemetry, Diabetes. Wound care, ostomies

Skills required:

IV start, NG and foley placement, critical thinking, precise nursing assessments

Years of experience required: 2 years

Number of beds in unit: 25

Patient ratio: 5:1, sometimes 6:1

Floating is required

Scrubs: Navy blue

EMR: Cerner
