Overview TalentFish is casting a line for a
Workday Adaptive Planning Implementation Consultant . This is a
remote contract engagement. The purpose of this position is to lead and support clients, particularly in the
healthcare and hospital sectors,
through all phases of
Workday Adaptive Planning
implementations. The consultant will play a key role in designing, configuring, and deploying scalable financial and operational planning solutions that empower clients to make data-driven decisions and improve business performance.
What You Bring to the Role (Ideal Experience)
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field. 5+ years of hands-on experience implementing
Workday Adaptive Planning
or similar EPM/CPM tools (e.g., Anaplan, Oracle PBCS, Hyperion). Strong understanding of
financial planning and analysis (FP&A)
processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Healthcare and hospital industry experience:
familiarity with operational budgeting, staffing models, and cost center structures used in healthcare organizations. Proven ability to manage multiple client projects and deliver on time within scope and budget. Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with
Excel ,
data modeling , and
integration concepts . Workday Adaptive Planning certifications (Core and/or Integration) preferred. Experience with
Workday Financials ,
Workday HCM , or healthcare ERP systems is a plus. What You'll Do (Skills Used in this Position)
Lead and participate in
Workday Adaptive Planning
implementations, from requirements gathering through post-go-live support. Conduct client workshops to identify and document planning, budgeting, and forecasting needs, especially for
healthcare organizations . Configure Adaptive Planning models, sheets, dashboards, and reports tailored to healthcare financial and operational workflows. Build and optimize models for
financial, workforce, and capital planning
to meet hospital and healthcare system needs. Develop integrations between Adaptive Planning and
source systems
(e.g., ERP, HRIS, EMR) using Workday tools or APIs. Validate data accuracy, perform testing, and troubleshoot system issues to ensure solution quality. Provide client training and knowledge transfer to promote user adoption and self-sufficiency. Stay current on
Workday updates, best practices, and healthcare finance trends
to continuously improve client outcomes. Compensation Information The expected salary range for this position is
$70/hr - $100/hr
depending on experience and qualifications. This role also qualifies for comprehensive benefits such as health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.
