What You'll Do
As a Court Clerk, you'll be the friendly face and organized mind that helps keep the court running smoothly. Every day brings new challenges and opportunities to serve the people of Lake Havasu City.
Your key responsibilities will include: Providing excellent
customer service
to defendants, attorneys, victims, jurors, and the public. Preparing and processing
court hearing files, protective orders, and legal documents
with accuracy and attention to detail. Handling
payments and payment agreements , reconciling deposits, and ensuring compliance with the Arizona Office of the Courts Minimum Accounting Standards. Processing
civil traffic citations , suspensions, and releases in coordination with the Arizona Motor Vehicle Division (MVD). Entering and maintaining
court case data and electronic records
in the case management system. Researching and monitoring
collections, warrants, and compliance cases
through the Arizona Court collections system (FARE), NCIC, and ACIC. Collaborating with
courtroom clerks, supervisors, and other city departments
to deliver efficient, fair, and professional service to all. What We're Looking For
We're seeking an individual who is reliable, organized, and ready to grow in a career that supports justice and public service.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED Two (2) years of experience in customer service, data entry, or basic accounting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Valid Arizona Driver's License Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a court or legal setting Knowledge of Arizona statutes, rules, and judicial procedures Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, SharePoint) Exceptional attention to detail and ability to multitask in a busy environment Special Requirement: Judicial staff must complete
16 hours of continuing education annually
through the Arizona Judicial Branch Education Services Division.

May require non-standard work hours to include days, nights, weekends, holidays, and callbacks.
