POSITION OVERVIEW
The Tool & Die Technician is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and fabricating tooling and dies used in manufacturing processes. Primary Responsibilities • Performs preventive maintenance on tooling and dies to ensure optimal performance • Troubleshoots and repairs tooling and die issues to minimize downtime • Fabricates new tooling and dies according to engineering drawings and specifications • Coordinates with production and engineering teams to support tooling needs • Documents maintenance activities and maintain accurate records of tooling inventory • Adheres to safety protocols and procedures while performing maintenance and repair tasks
Education Requirements • High school diploma or GED equivalent
Minimum Experience Required • Two (2) years of related experience
License(s) and/or Certification(s) Required • n/a
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required • Knowledge of metalworking processes and materials. • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
Computer Equipment and Software Requirements • Microsoft Office Suite
Preferences • Associate's degree or technical certification in Tool & Die Making or related field. • Experience with CNC machining and programming • Central Die Certification training
