JOB TITLE: Sensor Integration Engineer
LOCATION: Foster City, CA (4 days in office)
PAY RANGE: $73-$83/hr.
DURATION: 6 months

Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering or related background, BS with 2 years' work experience minimum Experience with 2D/3D in SolidWorks, Catia, or UG NX Able to read/interpret engineering test standards Summary: This role will ensure a validated sensor cleaning system is in place to guarantee that cameras, Lidars, and sensors operate consistently in different weather conditions and within specifications across the public road fleet. Implementing a proper solution, developing a robust test plan, and integrating the fully validated solution into the vehicle will improve sensor quality and consistency, reduce supply chain yield losses, enhance drive comfort, and minimize vehicle downtime. Responsibilities:
Diagnose and troubleshoot fleet issues impacting system performance Support wind tunnel and fleet testing of SCM function Support hardware/system level testing activities as needed Write test plan, design internal test fixture, execute testing, and report test results Required Skills:
Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering or related background, BS with 2 years' work experience minimum Experience with 2D/3D in SolidWorks, Catia, or UG NX Able to read/interpret engineering test standards Familiarity with data acquisition tools Hands-on experience and troubleshooting of mechanical/electrical failures Basic understanding of Python or other scripting languages Preferred Skills:
Familiar with automotive standards such as FMVSS, ISO, and IEC test standards Hands-on experience with thermocouples, strain gauges, pressure transducers, accelerometers, etc. Able to use CAN tools, e.g., PCAN, Vector, to troubleshoot vehicle faults Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
