Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our dynamic accounting team. This role involves managing financial records, processing invoices, and supporting various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our financial systems.
Responsibilities
Process and track customer invoices and vendor bills.
Maintain organized records of financial transactions.
Assist with data entry into accounting systems.
Support basic reconciliation of accounts and payments.
Communicate with vendors and clients regarding billing questions.
Provide general administrative support to the accounting team.
Essential Skills
Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software such as Sage or Timberline.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Prior experience in bookkeeping, billing, or accounting support.
Degree in Accounting or related field preferred, or equivalent accounting/bookkeeping experience.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
General understanding of billing and invoicing.
Ability to work within Microsoft Excel.
Work Environment
The position follows a traditional 9-5 schedule with a 30-minute lunch break. You will be working closely with the accounting team in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Little Falls Township, New Jersey.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $31.00/hr.
