Our client is seeking a Medical Assistant to join their busy practice. The ideal candidate will bring strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to manage clinical responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Experience within a cardiology or other cardiac-related specialty is highly preferred. This is an onsite position based in Fairfield County, CT.

Medical Assistant's Responsibilities and Duties:

Perform routine clinical procedures such as taking vitals, performing EKGs, drawing blood, and preparing patients for cardiac testing and exams Assist providers during patient visits and procedures, ensuring efficiency and patient comfort Accurately document patient information and maintain up-to-date medical records Prepare and restock exam rooms and ensure equipment is sanitized and functional Support patient flow and coordinate communication between patients, providers, and the care team Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, verifying insurance, and updating charts as needed Travel to the Wilton office twice weekly to provide consistent patient care and team support Medical Assistant's Qualifications and Skills:

Certified Medical Assistant or equivalent clinical training preferred Prior experience in cardiology or related medical specialty strongly preferred Experience with Epic EMR is a plus, but not required Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach Dependable, professional, and able to multitask efficiently
