Job Summary:

This position is primarily responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the company's business goals and objectives. Positions open on all Shifts, at our Extrusion facility and our Machine Shop.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility's equipment. • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production hours and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service. • Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities. • Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines. • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments. • Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities. • Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties. • Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision. • Comply with OSHA safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. • Must maintain and reinforce ISO standards and objectives. • Must be able to work extended hours when required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's):

Necessary KSA's • Must possess basic computer skills • Must have a good mechanical aptitude • Must have valid driver's license and be willing to travel between buildings • Must be self-motivated • Must have the ability to multitask and complete assignments on time • Must possess strong communication skills • Must be detail oriented • Must be willing to work overtime when necessary • Ability to work in a team environment • Ability to effectively work with people

Preferred KSA's: • Blue print reading skills • Basic math and trigonometry skills • Read equipment manuals to preform required maintenance • Strong understanding of machine tool geometry and usage with various materials • Machine trouble shooting skills • Basic knowledge for electrical • Not afraid of heights and can work from ladders • Basic knowledge of ISO concepts
