As a
Construction Project Coordinator , you will be responsible for providing support and assistance for the project managers. With the primary focus being on coordinating and maintaining documentation, organization, and communication to achieve job start compliance with sub-contractors and vendors.
Create/build new jobs in ProCore; pre-construction setup Assist with construction estimating and budget preparation Generate Subcontracts and Subcontractor Change Orders, including distribution and tracking Assist in requesting and closing out Purchase Orders, data entry and accounting tasks Assist with the development of internal and external reports including project budgeting, cost reports, project cash flow forecast, and project status reports to all stakeholders Assist field staff with inspections, revisions, utilities, and submit final documents for CO. Attend meetings in the office and in the field as required, take notes and prepare draft meeting minutes Review submittals and assist with RFI's Communicate effectively with team members, subcontractors, and clients throughout the process Administer project documentation and filing systems including close out documents Assist with the project turnover documentation, record keeping/retention, warranty administration and project closeout What We're Looking For:
Skilled in organizing project timelines, coordinating tasks, and assisting project managers in keeping projects on track 5 years' commercial construction experience Experienced in maintaining project documentation, permits, contracts, and progress reports for construction projects Strong verbal and written communication skills, effectively liaising with team members, clients, vendors, and subcontractors Knowledgeable in tracking budgets, monitoring expenditures, and assisting in maintaining project schedules Ensures all required permits and licenses are obtained and that the project complies with legal and regulatory standards Must be proficient in project management software, Procore, excel and office software (Microsoft Office Suite)
