IT Helpdesk Tier 1 - Japanese Bilingual
Location:
Houston, TX Hybrid
Salary:
$60-69K
Working Hours: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday
Our client company is seeking a self-motivated and organized
Tier 1 IT Helpdesk Engineer
to join their team. This position is required to go to client's location in
Houston, Texas , with at least
three days per week .
You'll be the first point of contact for users experiencing technical issues, delivering excellent customer service while resolving hardware, software, and network-related problems.
Key Responsibilities Serve as the
first point of contact
for technical support via phone, email, or helpdesk system (e.g., Zendesk) Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to:
Windows 10/11 OS Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook MS365/O365 environment VPN and LAN/Wi-Fi networks Network printers and basic cloud/Azure systems
Install, configure, and support software and hardware (PCs, printers, etc.) Maintain and create user guides, technical documentation, and procedures Provide remote support to users as needed Coordinate with vendors for product orders, replacements, and external technical support Deliver user training sessions onsite at the client's location Required Skills & Qualifications Strong proficiency in Microsoft Windows OS and Microsoft Office products Solid understanding of PC hardware, basic networking, and cloud concepts Excellent communication skills in
both Japanese (required)
and English (business level) High level of customer service and a team-oriented mindset Attention to information security and confidentiality Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in management information system, computer information system, or a related field 1-2 years of experience in a Helpdesk or similar IT support role Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a
Japanese company Microsoft certifications Prior involvement in IT-related projects
