Data Analyst
Markon is seeking a Data Analyst to support and Intelligence Customer by processing and analyzing data to help drive informed business decisions. In this role a successful candidate will work closely with senior executives to identify data needs and produce actionable insights.
Responsibilities:
- Gather data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and external sources.
- Clean, organize, and preprocess data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Data Analysis:
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Use statistical methods and tools to analyze data and generate insights.
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize data and communicate findings.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs and requirements.
- Present analytical findings and insights to non-technical audiences.
Data Integrity and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing regular data audits and validation checks.
Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Excel)
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with senior executives
- Experience producing briefing materials for senior executives or strategic comms background
- Advanced PowerPoint skills
- Familiarity with government budget process a plus
- Familiarity with portfolio management a plus
Salary Range: USD $160,000.00 - USD $180,000.00 /Yr.
