KODIAK Construction Recruiting & Staffing is hiring: Production Planner in Houst

We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Planner to join our manufacturing team. In this role, youll be responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing production schedules to meet customer demand while ensuring resource efficiency and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, adjust, and maintain production schedules based on customer orders, inventory levels, and capacity
• Coordinate with procurement, operations, and shipping teams to ensure timely availability of materials and products
• Monitor workflow and adjust schedules to address delays or resource constraints
• Analyze production data and forecasts to anticipate and prevent potential bottlenecks
• Maintain accurate records of production plans, changes, and KPIs
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to production planning, lead times, and material utilization

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a production planning or scheduling role (manufacturing or fabrication preferred)
• Proficient in ERP or MRP systems
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Associates or Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or a related field preferred
