iDEAL Hire is seeking a School Services Speech Language Pathologist for a travel job in Providence, Rhode Island.

May vary based on location Qualifications: Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or beyond. RI SLP Licensure is required thru RI DOE. ASHA SLP-CCC Certification is required. ESOL Certification highly preferred. Experience working with students with a range of disabilities (e.g., learning disabilities, autism, developmental delays, etc.) Skills & Experience: Experience working with children in school settings, preferably in bilingual/dual-language programs. Bilingual (Spanish-English) proficiency preferred. Knowledge of IDEA, IEP processes, and evidence-based practices in speech-language services. Strong collaboration, organization, and communication skills. Experience with diverse student populations and English Language Learners (ELLs). Training in culturally responsive and trauma-informed practices. Familiarity with digital tools and data systems used in special education documentation. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations in accordance with federal and state guidelines. Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for students with speech-language needs. Deliver direct and consultative speech/language services to students in inclusive and pull-out settings. Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and eligibility determinations. Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate language development strategies into instruction. Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, services, and progress toward IEP goals. Consult with families to provide support and training on speech and language development. Use culturally and linguistically appropriate assessment tools and intervention strategies. Support the implementation of AAC and other communication supports as needed. - Total hours may vary (approx. 40 hours) About iDEAL Hire
