Clinical Social Work Supervisor

to join our team! Homes for the Homeless (HFH) is searching for an experienced Clinical Social Work Supervisor to work in our Families w/ Children facilities in the Bronx and Manhattan. As the Clinical Social Work Supervisor, you will serve on our management team and provide clinical support through individual and group supervision to our LMSW’s across multiple sites. This position is an opportunity for an ambitious social work professional to help shape our growing program of Client Care Coordinators for our shelters. ABOUT HOMES FOR THE HOMELESS:

Homes for the Homeless operates shelters for families experiencing homelessness in NYC. Our family residences are more than just a place to sleep. Families can make the most of their stay through accessing an array of onsite programs. Many of these programs are also available to people living in the local community. Our goal is to have a positive impact so families can thrive long after they leave our shelters.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide clinical oversight for a team of LMSWs in accordance with the New York State Law and regulations.

Supervise, coach and offer professional development to LMSWs.

Consult with team members on tasks related to mental health service delivery for families experiencing homelessness.

This is a hybrid role: work is primarily remote with required quarterly in-person group supervisions held in sites in Manhattan or the Bronx.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have LCSW in NY State.

Must have SIFI Certification.

At least five years of supervisory experience and a minimum of two years of experience with families, preferably with a homeless population.

Demonstrated expert knowledge of trauma-informed treatment modalities.

10 hours /week

HOURLY WAGE:

$85 an hour
