Perform make-ready tasks to prepare apartments for incoming residents. Maintain open and effective communication with residents, coworkers, and vendors. Proactively identify maintenance issues, implementing solutions to enhance property operations. Keep accurate records of all work orders, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within budget. Requirements: Extensive knowledge in maintenance and renovation, specifically HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repair. EPA certification & HVAC repair experience preferred. Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in property maintenance, with multifamily experience being a plus. Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor when interacting with residents, vendors, contractors, and team members. Able to effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Reliable transportation is required to travel between properties as needed. Must provide and maintain necessary hand and power tools for the position. Proficient in smartphone applications. High school diploma or GED required; additional trade school training is preferred. Ability to pass a background check; criminal convictions will be evaluated based on relevance and legal standards. On-Call Availability: Must be available for after-hours emergency maintenance calls. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical labor for extended periods. Capable of safely operating maintenance tools and equipment. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50-lbs.
