About Us: We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive

AP/AR

to join our San Diego team. This role combines accounting and human resources support, ensuring smooth financial operations and employee coordination in a fast-paced construction environment.

Job Summary: The AP/AR & HR Coordinator will handle day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable, expense tracking, and reconciliations, while also supporting HR tasks such as onboarding, payroll coordination, and employee record management. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and discretion.

Key Responsibilities:

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and on time.

Reconcile invoices, receipts, and vendor statements; follow up on outstanding balances.

Assist with month-end close and reporting as needed.

Support HR functions including onboarding, benefits administration, and maintaining employee records.

Collect and verify timesheets; assist with payroll processing.

Prepare and maintain financial and HR documentation, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.

Assist with office coordination tasks, including scheduling, ordering supplies, and general administrative support.

Communicate with vendors, clients, and employees in a professional and timely manner.

Requirements:

2+ years of experience in accounting or administrative support (construction or related industry ).

Working knowledge of AP/AR processes and basic HR procedures.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks or similar).

Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with strong attention to detail.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and prioritize tasks independently.

High school diploma or equivalent required; bookkeeping or HR certification is a plus.
