CDL Delivery Driver

Join Wisconsin Building Supply, a leading supplier of essential building materials, as a CDL Delivery Driver. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to deliver high-quality materials while ensuring excellent customer service and maintaining the safety of operations. Your responsibilities will include: Safely operating delivery trucks Conducting pre-inspections of vehicles Participating in a positive work environment Maintaining a current Class A or B Commercial Driver's License Preparing DOT-required logs for time on duty and driving Organizing and securing loads for safe delivery Assisting with loading materials and checking orders for accuracy Delivering and unloading materials while ensuring customer satisfaction Recording returned merchandise and assisting in unloading returned items for credit Complying with all Department of Transportation guidelines Providing top-notch customer service Communicating effectively with customers and team members Maintaining truck cleanliness and participating in assigned training sessions Assisting in yard and warehouse housekeeping We are looking for candidates with: A High School Diploma or GED 1-3 years of CDL experience, particularly with flatbeds and tractor trailers Basic math skills and the ability to read orders and complete forms Excellent verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of safe lifting techniques and the ability to handle conflicts constructively Familiarity with current technologies, like smartphones and GPS This role offers potential opportunities for advancement based on experience, including options such as CDL Driver II, CDL Long Haul, and more.
