Position Summary

We are currently looking for a talented and experienced Electrical Engineer to specialize in powertrain inverters and Internal Charging Control Units (ICCU) at a component and system level. Candidates will need a broad engineering awareness and experience in electrical components. A successful candidate will be involved in everything from continuous improvement and optimization of current products to designing and developing future powertrain electrical components programs. You will need to be focused on delivering excellent performance to our customers, strong self-starters, team collaborators, and excellent problem solvers, with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The role will serve the operations of Mobis North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC (MNAe). Essential Functions

(To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.)

Working within a skilled and versatile team, you will inspect, test, and troubleshoot inverters and ICCUs being produced for electric vehicles

Perform root cause analysis on electrical equipment to determine the cause of fault or defect

Perform vehicle-level attribute testing and assessments

Perform component and system-level testing while meeting the demands of cost, packaging, and mass production

Lead problem-solving investigations to resolve durability and electrical concerns.

Mentoring and training all things ICCU and Inverter

Collaborate with industry experts

Develop and implement new design process methodologies and analytical tools

Develop and implement systems to ensure products are produced to meet or exceed customer requirements and expectations.

Participate in the change management process to ensure the products continue to meet customer requirements.

Assist management with the development and revision of quality programs.

Assist in defining/developing quality program status indicators, performance measurements, and reporting requirements.

Assists with implementing inspection plans, FTTQ, In-process, final inspection, sampling, and inspection acceptance criteria.

Apply problem-solving methodologies in identifying, prioritizing, communicating, and resolving all quality issues.

Irregular quality training for workers (process failure cases, improvement measures, etc.)

Maintain and manage good quality processes and 5-S standards within the QC Department

(The requirements below represent the knowledge, skills, and ability required and preferred for this position.) Preferred Education & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent

1+ years of quality control in a manufacturing

1+ years of experience with electrical component production/troubleshooting

Self-directed, excellent people and communication skills

Basic understanding of voltage, Current, and Ohm's law

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Must be goal-oriented, customer-focused, and results-driven

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proven interpersonal, communication, and time management skills

Proven experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
