What You’ll Do
As the Lead Content Strategist and Information Architect, you will play a crucial role in reimagining how we design and deliver technical content to customers across various channels, including websites and AI-powered experiences. Your expertise in information architecture will guide a significant redesign of our technical content sites and experiences, while also revamping our content management systems, authoring processes, and AI tools.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Assessing the current state of Teradata's technical documentation and defining an improved information architecture to enhance content findability and usability.
Developing an actionable plan for information architecture and providing training to ensure organizational effectiveness in technical content delivery.
Evaluating existing content management systems to identify areas for improvement that align with our ambitious end-to-end content vision.
Collaborating with product management and content engineering to document requirements for content creation and governance.
Guiding the implementation of new tools and processes to enhance content management capabilities.
Partnering with product managers and designers to identify user needs through research and user testing.
Actively engaging in discussions around product plans and contributing to content strategies that enhance business objectives.
Gaining a deep understanding of Teradata products to uncover content and design opportunities that support our customers.
Working with teams to establish and refine metrics for content success, using data to drive continuous improvement.
Contributing to a design system that reinforces content and design standards across the enterprise.
Advocating for the importance of content strategy and design in all aspects of the product lifecycle.

Who You’ll Work With
You will be part of our product engineering and experience team, focusing on enhancing user experience for our unified Teradata platform. This enterprise-wide role involves collaboration with engineers, product architects, product managers, and content designers.
This position reports to the Director of Content Strategy.

Extensive knowledge of content management systems, with a focus on AI-enabled tools.
Familiarity with XML/DITA and headless content architectures.
Experience with a range of content deliverables, including user interfaces and technical documentation.
Expertise in content workflows and operational support systems.

Pay Rate: 111800.0000 - 139800.0000 - 167700.0000 Annually
Your starting pay will depend on your location, skills, and experience. All permanent roles are eligible for our annual incentive plans. Employees are also eligible for comprehensive benefits, including a 401(k) plan and time-off programs.
