Description BLUF:

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates must possess an active DoD Secret clearance or higher, a current CISSP certification, and be within commuting distance to Ft Meade, MD. Role Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient leader to join our Defense Enterprise Services team. You will play a crucial role in providing security architecture support, driving cybersecurity implementations across the DoDNet, and serving as the primary technical point of contact for the network. This role entails the development of innovative cybersecurity solutions, providing strategic technical guidance, and leading a talented team of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). The ideal candidate will blend technical knowledge with excellent interpersonal skills to foster relationships and deliver impactful technical solutions. Key Responsibilities Design and implement security architectures and solutions to meet client needs. Support the Authorization to Operate (ATO) process by creating documentation and artifacts aligned with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) standards (NIST 800-37 rev 2). Provide insights and lead implementation efforts for an Audit and Accountability Plan (NIST SP 800-53). Create integrated solutions for monitoring, remediating, and documenting information system vulnerabilities based on DoD Instruction 8510.01. Architect and deploy solutions for Asset Management, Identity and Access Management, MFA/SSO, and other cybersecurity tools (DoDI 8520.02, 8520.03). Evaluate and recommend enhancements to existing security architectures to improve overall effectiveness. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree with 12-15 years of relevant experience (equivalent experience may substitute for education). 8+ years of hands-on experience in designing and implementing enterprise security solutions, including all necessary documentation. Extensive experience in enterprise security architecture design, including the creation of diagrams and documentation for IT systems and network topologies. Specific expertise with Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA/ZTNA) implementations and roadmaps. Strong knowledge of secure enterprise architecture design, particularly in C2C, IAM, NDR, EDR/XDR, SIEM, and AI/ML technologies. Thorough understanding of federal cybersecurity requirements (NIST SP 800-37, NIST 800-137). Demonstrated ability to tackle complex problems and formulate actionable solutions. Preferred Qualifications and Experience Skills in C2C, PAM, and cloud architecture. Experience in Robotic Process Automation/Intelligent Automation. Background in developing business cases for security solutions. Additional cybersecurity certifications. Familiarity with the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). $148,850.00 - $269,075.00 The Leidos pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation.
