CNC Mill Machinist
Our client has engaged QPT in its efforts to hire an experienced CNC Mill Operator/Machinist to join their manufacturing team. The candidate must have a strong background in prototype machining and be proficient in operating CNC mills. This role is crucial for producing high-quality components that meet precise specifications. The successful candidate will demonstrate mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to read blueprints effectively. Responsibilities:
Operate CNC mills to fabricate prototype parts according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand machining requirements. Modify G code programs. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers to ensure accuracy of finished products. Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and troubleshoot minor issues as they arise. Implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance production efficiency. Collaborate with team members to optimize tooling processes and improve overall workflow. Maintain a clean and organized work area, always adhering to safety protocols. Requirements:
Proven experience as a CNC Mill Operator or similar role in a prototype manufacturing environment with 7 to 15 years of experience. Ability to read and modify G code programs. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate power tools effectively. Experience with tooling. Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical specifications. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication skills. Commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all aspects of work. Pay And Benefits:
