Job Title
Assist in installation and maintenance of conveyor belts, including V-belts, timing, rough/smooth top, and modular. Help maintain chain drive systems, including tensioners and lubrication points. Perform inspections and report worn or damaged parts. Support hydraulic and pneumatic system maintenance, including valves, regulators, cylinders, filters, and dryers. Aid in preventive maintenance and lubrication tasks. Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of common mechanical failures. Learn to read and apply mechanical and hydraulic schematics. Participate in team-based projects to improve equipment reliability. Ensure all production equipment is operating properly and maintained to company standards. Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends when needed. Basic mechanical aptitude with hand and power tools. Understanding of conveyor and chain drive systems. Introductory knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics. Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn. Commitment to safe work practices and procedures. Experience with replacing roller bearings. 02 years of industrial or mechanical maintenance experience. Welding/fabrication, electrical experience, plumbing/HVAC, and carpentry/construction. Technical training, apprenticeship, or coursework in mechanics preferred. Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
