Marketing Director POSITION OVERVIEW This role is with JOEY, a rapidly growing startup in the highly regulated CPG sector. As part of our innovative portfolio, you'll have the chance to directly impact our growth and success while navigating the unique challenges of this industry. As the Community & Partnerships Manager at JOEY, you will play a vital role in fostering community engagement and exploring partnership opportunities. This position blends the dynamic world of digital culture with brand collaboration, making it ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of social ecosystems and community building. Working closely with the Marketing Director, you'll help ensure JOEY is actively involved in the right conversations and collaborations, supporting the execution of impactful activations that enhance our brand presence. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Community Ecosystem Support
- Manage and engage JOEY's social and digital communities, while identifying emerging creators and community touchpoints. Partnership Coordination
- Oversee partnership requests, evaluate their fit, and collaborate with the Marketing Director on subsequent steps. Activation Support
- Assist in the planning and execution of various activations, including retail events, sampling programs, and grassroots/community initiatives. Connector Role
- Serve as a liaison between marketing, growth, creative teams, and external partners, ensuring seamless communication and deliverables. Cultural Scouting
- Research trends, digital platforms, and grassroots communities to discover innovative ideas that keep JOEY relevant and forward-thinking. Tracking & Reporting
- Maintain schedules, trackers, and summaries of partnership and community activities to assess impact and support strategic decision-making. QUALIFICATIONS 3-5 years of experience in community, partnerships, or brand marketing (experience in CPG, lifestyle, or regulated categories is a plus). Knowledge of social media ecosystems, influencers, and digital community platforms. Excellent project management skills with the ability to stay organized amid multiple initiatives. Experience supporting both local grassroots activations and larger-scale partnership programs. Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to thrive in a dynamic startup environment.
