PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION We are looking for a highly skilled HVAC/Refrigeration Technician with over 10 years of experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. The ideal candidate will possess advanced technical knowledge, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead and mentor junior technicians. PRIMARY DUTIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES Install, maintain, and repair complex HVAC and refrigeration systems, including advanced air conditioning units and heating systems. Diagnose and troubleshoot intricate issues with HVAC and refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. Conduct comprehensive maintenance and inspections to prevent system failures and ensure compliance with safety and industry standards. Read and interpret technical blueprints and specifications to determine installation requirements. Lead and mentor junior technicians, providing guidance and enhancing their skills. Collaborate with team members and contractors to efficiently complete projects. Maintain detailed records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management. Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to provide high-quality service. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS At least 10 years of experience in HVAC and refrigeration maintenance and repair. EPA certification for handling refrigerants. Advanced knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems and their components. Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities. Able to work both independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Completion of a technical school or apprenticeship program.
