The successful candidate will inspire and cultivate a joyful and inclusive culture that emphasizes inquiry-based teaching and learning. You will play a key role in creating an environment of psychological safety, kindness, and high academic aspirations. As the Director, you will oversee all aspects of daily operations, including curriculum development, instructional practices, student support services, and parent engagement initiatives. You will also be responsible for hiring, supervising, and supporting the professional growth of faculty and staff members. Importantly, you will collaborate deeply in advancing the school’s strategic goals, focusing on innovation, belonging, and financial sustainability. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in early childhood and elementary education, with a preference for those with experience as a Lower School Division Head. A Bachelor’s degree is required; a Master’s degree in education or school leadership is preferred. Strong communication skills and a clear, proactive approach to leadership. A commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. Experience with Reggio Emilia philosophy, responsive classroom practices, and inquiry-based methodologies. Track record of engaging in fundraising efforts and advancing strategic objectives.
