Lead Senior Systems Administrator (Unix/Linux)
This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located at customer's site. Work to be performed in Dahlgren, VA. The AT&T will provide comprehensive Information Technology Infrastructure Support Services to the US Navy, delivering asset management, network operations, system design and configuration, and facility support to ensure effective day-to-day operations at several Naval Bases. AT&T has an opening for a Lead Senior Systems Administrator (Unix/Linux) to provide advanced technical support to the US Navy. In this role, you will deliver reliable and secure IT infrastructure services across multiple Naval bases. This position plays a critical role in ensuring system availability, security compliance, and operational effectiveness in support of mission requirements. Job Duties/Responsibilities
Install, configure, monitor, and maintain Unix/Linux servers. Apply security patches, updates, and system hardening in compliance with DoD guidelines. Manage backups, restores, and disaster recovery. Troubleshoot performance and operational issues. Support virtualization, cloud integration, and hybrid deployments. Required Clearance
TS/SCI (#tssci) Required Qualifications
6 years of professional experience in Unix/Linux system administration. Expertise in backup/recovery, software management, system security, hardware/software installation, troubleshooting, and tuning. Familiarity with TCP/IP and major security tools (e.g., firewalls) plus vulnerability management. Required Certification: IAT Level III Our Lead Senior Systems Administrator (Unix/Linux) earn between $110,000 - $185,000. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers.
