This role requires hands-on experience in both diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, with responsibilities including scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating in the Cath Lab. Candidates must meet all listed requirements to be considered. Minimum Requirements: 1–2 years of Cath Lab experience First-time travelers accepted with a minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience in scrubbing and monitoring ACLS and BLS certifications required Experience in Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab settings Proficiency in procedures including: Cardiac Stent Placement Diagnostic Catheterizations (Adult) Hemodynamic Monitoring IABP Placement/Removal Interpretation of Dysrhythmias Left and Right Heart Catheterization PCI and PTCA Pulmonary Artery Line Insertion Scrub Procedures and Temporary Pacemaker Procedural responsibilities include: Accurate Monitoring Equipment Setup EKG Lead Placement Access Site Preparation Recognition of Life-Threatening Arrhythmias Room Circulation and Sterile Field Maintenance Vascular Closure Systems Additional Details: On-call required approximately one day per week and every 4th–5th weekend (including occasional Sundays) Floating within scope to meet facility needs Block scheduling not available Locals accepted Pending licenses accepted RTO ideally limited to 5 days Guaranteed hours subject to cancellation of up to 3 shifts per assignment without penalty On-call hours do not count toward guaranteed minimum hours Scrubs provided by unit Charting system: Excellian/Epic Parking: $0.55/hour for all shifts Certifications: Certifications marked with * are preferred ACLS BLS CCI RCIS* About The Judge Group Judge Healthcare, a division of The Judge Group, bridges the talent divide for companies and organizations across the healthcare ecosystem, providing resources and specialized roles such as travel nurses, allied health professionals, locum tenens, and more.
