Job Description The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, implementing, and evaluating care needed by assigned patients under the direction of the licensed physician. This role involves collaboration with patients, their families, and members of the healthcare team to individualize patient care. The RN will direct nursing support staff in the provision of patient care, ensuring compliance with nursing practice standards, administrative policies, and departmental procedures. This position may require flexibility, as the RN will be expected to rotate locations based on organizational needs.
Responsibilities
Assess and evaluate patient care needs.
Implement care plans following physician direction.
Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Direct nursing support staff in the delivery of patient care.
Adapt to changing patient needs and rotate locations as required.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Bachelor's Degree preferred.
1 year of experience in a clinical specialty preferred.
Current PA Registered Nurse License required.
Basic Life Support certification required.
Schedule This position is available for an 8-hour AM shift and requires call on a rotating basis.
