\n\n\n What’s a typical day as a QC Inspector I? \n\n
You’ll be:
\n\n
\n\t \n\t Performing inspections using
engineering drawings, work instructions, technical specs, and QA procedures .
\n\t\n\t
\n\t Conducting
preliminary, progressive, and final inspections
on aircraft structures and systems.
\n\t\n\t
\n\t Verifying
functional operations, FOD checks, and documentation accuracy .
\n\t\n\t
\n\t Witnessing, verifying, and documenting
manufacturing process steps .
\n\t\n\t
\n\t Performing
conformity/first article inspections
to ensure compliance with FAA-approved procedures.
\n\t\n\t
\n\t Ensuring
proper use and storage of tools/equipment .
\n\t\n\t
\n\t Promoting
health, safety, and product safety
by working safely and supporting risk reduction initiatives.
\n\t\n\t
\n\t Supporting manufacturing teams with
technical expertise
and participating in
continuous improvement activities .
\n\t\n
\n\n\n This job might be an outstanding fit if you have: \n\n
\n\t \n\t A
High School Diploma or GED .
\n\t\n\t
\n\t 1 year of quality inspection experience
OR
2 years of GAC manufacturing experience .
\n\t\n\t
\n\t 2 years of manufacturing or equivalent aerospace experience
(preferred).
\n\t\n\t
\n\t Ability to complete a
Formal Inspection Training Program
within 90 days.
\n\t\n\t
\n\t Working knowledge of
shop math, blueprint reading/interpretation (CATIA preferred) .
\n\t\n\t
\n\t Competency in the use of
basic shop tools and inspection equipment .
\n\t\n
\n\n\n Additional Details \n\n
\n\t \n\t Must follow all
safety and quality standards , including tool control and FOD prevention programs.
\n\t\n\t
\n\t Work may involve area inspections to verify compliance with standards and procedures.
\n\t\n\t
