Role Overview As a Massage Therapist, you will focus on providing relaxation and pain relief through therapeutic touch. Your key responsibilities will include meeting clients to assess their needs, creating a tranquil environment, and using various techniques to alleviate muscle tension. Key Responsibilities Deliver safe and effective therapeutic massages tailored to individual client needs. Establish a professional environment and communicate with clients about their preferences and concerns before sessions. Allow clients adequate time to undress and prepare for the massage. Maintain accurate records for each client session. Coordinate with staff on scheduling and ensure no conflicts with other therapists. Manage and maintain massage equipment and supplies, ensuring all areas are clean and well-stocked. Promptly notify staff when supplies need reordering. Requirements: Completion of 500 hours at an AMTA or ABMP accredited massage therapy school. Current CPR/AED certification. Valid Illinois Massage Therapy License.
