Senior Automation Tester With TOSCA Experience
As a Senior Automation Tester with TOSCA experience, you will make an impact by designing and executing robust automation frameworks and test strategies that ensure the reliability and accuracy of provider-based healthcare applications. You will be a valued member of the Quality Engineering team and work collaboratively with developers, product owners, and business analysts to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.
In this role, you will:
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for provider-based applications.
- Perform automation testing of backend services, APIs, and data flows.
- Validate API endpoints using Swagger and Postman, ensuring proper request/response formats and business logic.
- Write and execute TOSCA scripts to validate the application functionality.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Log and track defects using Jira, and maintain test documentation in Confluence.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.

What you need to have to be considered:
- 8+ years of experience in Automation testing and API testing.
- Strong proficiency in TOSCA.
- Hands-on experience on API testing tools like Swagger, Postman.
- Proficiency in Jira, and Confluence.
- Experience in the healthcare Provider domain (added advantage).
- Good understanding on Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Salary and other compensation: Applications will be accepted until October 10th, 2025. The annual salary for this position is between $53,477 to $92,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
